The glorious combination of mallows, chocolate, and grahams
I can’t talk about s’mores without thinking about one of the greatest movies of all time. . . Sandlot.
If you haven’t seen it, please stop what you are doing and WATCH IT
“Hey, Smalls, you wanna s’more?” “Some more of what?” **Classic!!**
On the other hand maybe more people like to associate s’mores with camping, you know, around the camp fire, under the stars in the middle of no where, surrounded by the sounds of nature.
HA! To me that sounds like the worst time ever! I am NO camper. I’d rather spend the weekend cleaning the house than go camping in the middle of the woods, surrounded by a million bugs and the smell of the outdoors (my husband is still trying to convince me otherwise). I’d much rather have the sounds of cars driving by than bugs to putting me to sleep
Back to Sandlot. . . have you watched it yet?
These little peanut butter s’more bites are so easy and quick to make!
Just cut a bunch of marshmallows in half, spread with peanut butter, cover in chocolate and roll in golden grahams cereal
They set in about 5 minutes and you’ve got a yummy treat you can scarf down or take to a BBQ or picnic (or I guess if you prefer, you can take them next time you go camping)
Do you like to camp? Have you seen Sandlot? What’s you favorite part?
I have to say my favorite part is when they have the sleepover in the tree house and talk about “the beast” and make s’mores
