Cookie Butter Avalanche Bars

Cookie Butter Avalanche Bars

Cookie Butter Avalanche Bars

So, here we are… back to my rice krispy treat addiction

It’s getting a little out of control

I think I’m also headed for a cookie butter addiction because I’m starting to add it to everything I make

These TO – DIE – FOR cookie butter, chocolate chip, marshmallows, white chocolate heaven bars that will blow your mind

My husband and I have come across a new non-food addiction

Playing games!

I think that officially makes us old and boring but I don’t care…at least it beats out going to bed before 9 (that would be the icing on the cake of true old fogies…no offense to those of you who prefer that…I will get there I’m sure) sorry for the long run on sentence in parenthesis

Anyways…our love of game playing has grown and we just bought a game that has sent us overboard: Ticket to Ride

Have you played it? It’s addicting and SO much fun

*another yummy picture*

This game obsession is actually very odd for me

I’m a VERY competitive person, I grew up playing sports and always competing in everything!

I also don’t like to lose

That is not a very good mix of characteristics. . . but with the GRACE of God I’ve gained some humility over the years and have become slightly less competitive.

I’m still pretty competitive but I longer turn into a rotten person after I loose and I’m able to play games with my husband without things ending in a marital. This took a lot of grace :)

So If I’m not late night baking, I’m most likely playing games with the hubby

Sorry for the excessive amount of pictures, but I love how desserts are just SO easy to photograph!

It takes little on my part to make them look good

What’s your favorite thing to do once the kids are in bed or you finally have a chance to relax?

If you are a gamer, I’d love some suggestions on your favorite games!

    Pinned! These look amazing! Thanks!

Okay. I think we probably need to be best friends because I am addicted to Rice Krispie treats (especially salted brown butter ones) and my husband and I are total board game geeks. Pinning these amazing looking treats. Also – If you like Ticket to Ride, I would recommend checking out Power Grid. It has a map element similar to Ticket to Ride but is a bit more complex. Seven Wonders is also a good one to teach to your non-gamer friends because it isn’t too complicated and doesn’t take too long to play. You can get em hooked with that one. 😉

Yes! Thank you for suggestions, we are definitely looking into getting more games and have looked at 7 wonders, we just bought dominion and love it so we’ve heard that is very similar. So glad you also love rice krispy treats as much as I do! Thanks for stopping by :)
